Our next meeting is Tuesday, May 13th: Our goal for this meeting is ramping up to organize two distinct groups for actions going forward. We have received feedback that everyone is excited and anxious to start moving forward with actionable items and events. That is our goal as well.
There has been a significant increase in ICE activity in the last two weeks. It’s obvious the administration is pushing forward with activities to chill dissent, oversight and insight fear to the population in general. We intend to discuss these developments on Tuesday.
Every action is a building block – success is measured by expanding participation, bringing in new constituencies. Building widespread popular opposition is essential to pressure institutions: the judiciary, law firms, universities and more. We are following other Indivisible Facebook Pages, and some of their information has been used within this newsletter.
